This policy explains what personal information Objects collects across our website, mobile app, and AI design tools, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using Objects, you agree to the practices described here.
Objects (“Objects”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates a platform for a premium home décor and lifestyle exhibition. The platform includes this public website, a mobile application for visitors, an administration dashboard, and dashboards for participating exhibitors. This Privacy Policy applies to all of these.
It describes the personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we handle it, and the rights you have over it. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the platform. Where we act as the controller of your personal data, the contact details for any privacy question are in the Contact section.
We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you interact with us.
You can browse as a guest using a temporary session. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier as permitted by those services. We never receive your Apple or Google password.
When you use AI Studio, we collect the room or space photos you upload so the system can generate a suggested design. Exhibitors and administrators may also upload product images for AI image tools. Please do not upload images that contain other identifiable people, sensitive personal information, or content you do not have the right to use.
Objects offers AI features powered by Google’s Gemini image model. In AI Studio, you upload a photo of a room and request a design generated with furniture from the exhibition. Product image tools let exhibitors and administrators process product photos, for example removing a background or creating marketing imagery.
To do this, the relevant image and your request are sent to Google’s Gemini API for processing. The generated result is returned to us and stored so that you can view and save your designs. We retain your uploaded images and generated results in our cloud storage, linked to your account, and you can delete saved designs at any time.
AI output is generated automatically and is provided for inspiration only — it may not always be accurate or suitable. We monitor aggregate AI usage and cost for operational purposes; this monitoring does not expose the content of your images.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the following:
We rely on the following providers to deliver the platform. Each processes only the data needed for its purpose.
| Provider | Purpose | More information |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in with Google and the Gemini AI image model used by AI Studio and product tools. | Privacy policy | |
| Apple | Sign in with Apple authentication. | Privacy policy |
| Firebase (Google) | Authentication support and push notification delivery (Cloud Messaging). | Privacy & security |
| Amazon Web Services | Secure cloud storage for media, uploaded images, and AI results. | Privacy notice |
| Sentry | Application error and performance monitoring (may include diagnostic data and IP address). | Privacy policy |
| Email provider | Delivery of transactional emails such as confirmations and notifications. | — |
With your permission, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send push notifications about exhibitions, products, and updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings. We may also send service-related emails that are necessary to operate your account, such as confirmations and security notices.
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, or as required by law. Account data is retained while your account is active. Uploaded images and AI designs are kept until you delete them or close your account. Registrations, applications, and inquiries are kept for a reasonable period for follow-up and record-keeping. Logs and diagnostic data are kept for a limited period. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), role-based access controls, audit logging of administrative actions, and reputable cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.
Depending on where you live — including under Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent.
You can exercise many of these directly:
We respond to requests within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The platform is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required where you live), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Some of our service providers operate in other countries, so your data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses — to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the “Effective” date above. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice, such as an in-app message or email.
To exercise your rights, request account deletion, or ask anything about this policy, reach our team. We respond within the time required by applicable law.
